USAGE

Your Rainbow Jewelry is designed to endure a lifetime and beyond. Sterling silver, composed of at least 92.5% silver by weight, naturally possesses strength and resilience against sweat, water, rain, and daily activities. However, to preserve its original brilliance and prevent natural tarnishing, we recommend avoiding outdoor household chores, sports, showering, swimming, gym workouts, or any activities involving exposure to chemicals or abrasive substances.

STORAGE

Proper storage is equally vital. Upon purchase, your Rainbow Jewelry comes with a storage pouch and/or protective box. During periods of non-use, we advise keeping your jewelry dry and storing it in its original pouch/box or any airtight container with proper lining to prevent scratches.

GENERAL CLEANING PRACTICES

1. Silver Jewelry (Oxidized Effect)

Sterling silver naturally tarnishes when exposed to sweat, chlorine, humidity, and strong chemicals. Cosmetics like lotions, creams, and fragrances can also affect the finish of your silver jewelry. To clean your silver jewelry, please:

•   Use the provided silver polishing cloth and gently rub it on the silver parts.
•   For heavily tarnished jewelry, you may use Rainbow Jewelry's cleaning cream and/or a solution specifically formulated for silver cleaning.

2. Silver Jewelry with Precious Metal Platings

Similar to silver jewelry without plating (oxidized effect), your plated jewelry should avoid exposure to substances that may tarnish the finish. Use a silver polishing cloth to wipe away oxidized tarnishes, but avoid vigorous rubbing, as it may cause the plating to fade. 3. Precious Metal Jewelry (Gold / Platinum)

Gold and platinum jewelry should avoid contact with abrasive solutions and chemicals, as they may discolor the metal. For general cleaning, only use a specifically formulated cleaning solution/cream for gold/platinum, or Rainbow Jewelry's ultra-fine microfiber polishing cloth.

4. Stone Jewelry

Natural stone jewelry can be adversely affected by chemicals. Please avoid exposing your stone jewelry to abrasive chemicals or cosmetics. For general cleaning of the stone parts, dampen a soft cloth with water and gently rub over the stones to remove dirt. Follow the above cleaning guidelines for silver/metal parts. 5. Crystals and Cubic Zirconia Jewelry

Protect your crystals and/or cubic zirconia paved jewelry from scratches or chips by avoiding strong impacts against hard surfaces. Gemstones like crystals should be kept away from perfumes, cosmetics, and other abrasive chemicals. Use only specifically formulated solutions for gemstone cleaning. 6. Enamel Jewelry

Enamel can chip or scratch when struck, so please avoid strong impacts on hard surfaces. To clean the enamel parts, dampen a soft cloth with water and gently rub over the enamel to remove dirt.
